A new start, a new direction

I am back to this blog, for no other reason than to log my ongoing gaming projects. I'm not particuarly worried about followers or getting views for this blog (just yet), more of using it as anote book.
So what have I been up to, well when I have had time I've continued playing epic 40K against Stephen, and I have to say its been a blast. One of the best games ever put out by GW.
But something that's really been iching has been 15mm sci fi. I've built up quite a collection of od figures, rules and ideas, so thats the point of this, to try and tie it all together.
So with no further rambling, how about a few pictures?

These are the fantastic british troops from Black hat miniatures's Martian Empires range. really nice to paint, and I have to say I am enjoying 6 and 15mm after all these years of 28mm, I just don't like painting eyes! don't get me wrong I enjoy painting, but it is part of my gaming hobby, not my hobby.

Anyway lets have a look at some tanks (I will get better at backgrounds and stuff, promise).

I signed up to the All Quiet On The Martian Front kickstarter, and got a load of stuff. Am I happy with what I got? Hmmm not sure, but these tanks fit nicely with my sci fi victorian Brits.
Ok nest time, some talk about rules, boards and background.

Originally this was planned as a Post Apocalyptic gaming blog, but youo know what, like many gaming blogs it got nowhere, so this blog sat and festered.
spired by my gaming buddy steve's new blog i thought i better get this started properly.
Right now i'm playing a few games, a bit of 6mm Epic (third edition, what a game), bolt action and warlord games pike and shot.
Meanwhile you can always pop over to http://6mmgeneral.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default for a bit of 6mm inspiration.

Coming up soon, painted 28mmWWII Brits.
